St. Louis auto accident puts one in hospital

A car flipped several times in an I-70 accident on the north side of St. Louis.

According to a report from kmov.com, the accident happened eastbound on I-70 at the O’Fallon Park Exit in St. Louis. At least one person was taken to the hospital.

SUV plows into Springfield home

An SUV hit a house in Springfield, Missouri, on North Kansas Expressway.

According to a report on News-Leader.com, Springfield police officers say the driver of a Dodge Durango lost control, and rolled the vehicle into a house. The people in the vehicle fled the scene, and no one in the home was hurt. Police later found two females and one male who they believe to be passengers, but they say at least one other person has not been found yet.

St. Louis car accident leaves one man dead

April 14, 2010

A St. Louis man driving a 1994 Ford Taurus was killed near the 3600 block of Gravois when he collided with a 1999 Mercury Sable.

According to an article from stltoday.com, the Taurus was speeding westbound on Gravois approaching Grand Boulevard in St. Louis. As the vehicle crossed Grand, witnesses said it lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the Mercury Sable head-on.

Tree falls, injures man in Chicago

April 8, 2010

A man in Chicago is seriously injured after a tree fell on his van this morning, according to a report from WGN-TV.

The report said it happened in the Irving Woods neighborhood, and area known for being surrounded by forest preserves.

Rescue crews had to cut trees from the Chevy van the Chicago man was driving.
