David Nissenholtz was born in St. Louis in 1945. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1967. He is a graduate of the Missouri University School of Law, University of Missouri-Columbia, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1971.
In addition to his trial work, Mr. Nissenholtz is also active in numerous professional, legal, and community organizations.
Mr. Nissenholtz is authorized to practice law in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois and before the United States Supreme Court.
