Cofman Townsley Attorney
Jonathan Valentino, a Cofman Townsley litigation partner, focuses his law practice on personal injury, class action, and plaintiff’s complex commercial litigation.
Jonathan was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He attended St. Louis University for his undergraduate studies and, in 2000, graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to attend St. Louis University School of Law, where he was one of 10 incoming students selected as part of the inaugural class of 1843 Scholars. Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor in 2003.
Since graduating from law school, Jonathan has been a practicing litigator. He has tried a number of cases to verdict in both the Missouri state and federal courts, and has briefed and argued appeals before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit. Jonathan has been recognized by the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis for his trial advocacy skills, as part of its inaugural St. Louis Young Lawyers Division Trial Advocacy Competition.
Jonathan’s practice has allowed him to represent and advocate on behalf of clients injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents, defective products, and hazardous conditions existing on residential, commercial and industrial properties. He has also represented clients in numerous class action lawsuits involving consumer fraud, and has represented both individuals and businesses in commercial disputes involving breach of contract, shareholder disagreements, and fraudulent misrepresentation.
