Two injured in Springfield auto accident

The Springfield News-Leader reported that two people suffered various injuries during a recent Springfield car accident.
The driver of one of the cars involved was attempting to pass another vehicle when she lost control of the car, crossed into oncoming traffic, and hit a sport utility vehicle.
The driver and one of the passengers in the SUV were taken to a local hospital to be treated for the moderate injuries they sustained during the Springfield auto accident.
Authorities said that both victims were wearing seat belts at the time of the Springfield car accident.
