Dylan Briggs is a Cofman Townsley personal injury litigation attorney, and his office is in Clayton, Missouri. Dylan primarily handles auto accident and premises liability cases.

Dylan was born and raised in St. Louis, and he takes great pride in his city, having grown up in Ballwin and graduated from Parkway West High School. After earning a degree in Business Administration from Truman State University, Dylan earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. Dylan takes great satisfaction in obtaining compensation for his clients’ injuries and in making his city a safer place to live. 

Dylan chose to become a lawyer for a very specific reason. “I chose to become a lawyer because I have always had a passion for helping others, and attorneys are uniquely qualified to help people in ways few others can.” 

His ability to think laterally and creatively is what sets his legal practice apart. While there may be a conventional solution to many problems, the collateral consequences of that solution may not be conducive to a client’s particular interests or circumstances. 

By always striving to put himself in his client’s shoes, as well as understanding the opposing party, Dylan excels at developing alternate solutions that avoid negative consequences. 

In addition to his skills as a litigator, Dylan has further developed his legal acumen through several years of advocating for clients in the appellate process. He also stays on the cutting edge of responsibly incorporating generative artificial intelligence into his practice.

Dylan and his wife, Caroline, married in 2024, and they welcomed their firstborn son in the summer of 2025. Dylan enjoys contributing to all of the ways Cofman Townsley gives back to the community, including Rebuilding Together St. Louis and Motion for Kids.
