David Simkins

David Simkins focuses his practice on personal injury cases, including premises liability, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases.
Dave graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia’s School of Journalism in 1990. He graduated cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law in 1995. Following graduation, Dave clerked for the Honorable Thomas Welch at the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Illinois.
From 1999-2021, Dave did predominately insurance defense work at three St. Louis firms and conducted approximately 30 jury trials in Missouri and Illinois, including some with over $1,000,000 at stake. He has been selected to Super Lawyers® many times.
Having grown increasingly disenchanted working with insurance companies, Dave is excited and happy to be focusing his practice on representing injured people.
