A family whose teenage daughter was killed in a drunk driving Chicago auto accident is suing the man who was driving the other vehicle for an Illinois wrongful death, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The 20-year-old man driving an SUV was charged with aggravated DUI in the Chicago auto accident when he fled through a stop sign. The family is seeking more than $1 million in damages for the 17-year-old’s Illinois wrongful death.
